This week, I'm recommending a way 

to change laundry habits that:

• Save on water / money
• Reduces carbon footprint 
• Positively impacts family health & our environment

One really simple thing we can all do is wash using cold water. - If everyone in Canada and the US did this 75% of the time, net carbon emissions would be reduced by 4.25 million metric tons (MT). 

The equivalent of removing (roughly) a million cars from the road for a year.

And if this were done in other parts of the world, such as Europe and the UK just how much better would that be?

Bandana in your hair

When you walked past my window

I just had to stop and  stare

March Hare

Climate Change is here (already) 

Transforming appearances everywhere

From the Tops of our Hats 

to the Bottoms of our Soles

We are invited to partake

In this hearty-party

And feast on an array of options and actions

Within this fabulous book of transactions!

Yes! Some arrive blowing freezing-hot

Whilst others abstain, trying

To remain luke-warm cold. 

The latter barely glancing upon the golden platter

And yet it DOES matter -

Unless you are the 

Mad Hatter

So look! For within the buffet of choices on offer,

(for that is what The Carbon Almanac will confer)

Are choices for our children,

AND their children's 

children!

So dress your best to prepare for the Test

For much is contained 

On the matter
