Is this really the Godfather of AI?

Sir Geoffrey Hinton (age77) has been given this title.

By whom?

Is this a self-proclaimed title -  or a real title?

In a recent interview Sir Geoffrey Hinton said:

Humans / humanity is over-rated.

Humans don't needs to be conscious

The essence of humanity doesn't matter

AI / Robots are allowed to develop some consciousness

He believes most jobs will vanish yet he wants

AI to make more stuff for us to consume.

Geoffrey Hinton supports the BBC / mainstream British empire propaganda.

He supports the escalating problems in Ukraine

He supports the social credit system for humanity

And is a believer in the dystopian

Black Mirror tv-episode worldview.

I came away feeling Sir Geoffrey Hinton

& his type, have lived in a bubble their whole lives

Bubbles have a way of getting burst.

He lives is Canada and has maintained a strong British empire accent.

He believes CEOs of future company's don't need to be smart or intelligent

and can delegate all the hard work to their intelligent secretaries.

I also came away realising that he, too, doesn't realise the

full extent of how much / how fast the pieces on the chessboard are changing.
